Two mirrored S-curve paisleys stack vertically down this tall, narrow block, each built from concentric grooved lines that spiral inward toward a tight coil. Small four-petal florets and dot studs are tucked into the open spaces within each curve, adding fine detail against the bold, sweeping lines of the main motif.
Small drilled perforations follow the scroll's outline, likely used to help distribute dye evenly along the curve during printing. A touch of green-teal patina survives at one top corner against the otherwise warm grey-taupe surface, and delicate leaf carving frames the top edges where the block has aged and chipped slightly.
